Visionary Entertainment was started & founded by Rashaan “Big Homey” Hornsby on July 26, 2008 in Camden, N.J. at a studio session with a Camden producer by the name of Quietstorm. Visionary Entertainment was started on a pure foundation, a solid structure, and a clear vision for success, with those key elements in place Visionary was ready to take its place in music history & the world.
The Record Company
This Record Company is more than just a Hip- Hop Label; Visionary Entertainment is a universal entertainment company with an array of talent ranging from Hip- Hop, R&B, Soul, Dance, Modeling, Radio, & Pop, to bring you the highest level of quality music available. The first act ever signed to Visionary Entertainment was “3 Da Hardway” from Camden, N.J., then the artist “Yung- Poppa” came shortly after.
The Label
This powerhouse of a label is ran on a day to day basis by the following organizational members: Rashaan “Big Homey” Hornsby (CEO/President), Troy Hood (VP/ A&R), & Ladeen Hornsby (VP Production). Visionary Entertainment is a positive movement geared towards helping young up & coming artist from all walks of life have a voice in this world, and more options when they feel they have none.
The Need
The need for a label like Visionary Entertainment was well over due in the City of Camden, as well as other city cities all over the world. Here at Visionary Entertainment we pride ourselves on being trend setters in the world of not only Hip- hop, but fashion, style, sports, entertainment, & culture as well, so all ways look for us to be at the top of any of those various list.
